Who We Are and What This Covers
This Privacy Notice explains how LedgerArc (“LedgerArc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information through theledgerarc.com (the “Site”). It does not cover information we receive through a client engagement, which is governed by the applicable written agreement.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- your name and work email address;
- your organization, if you enter one;
- the type of inquiry you select; and
- the content of your message.
Information Collected Automatically
With each form submission, we record the date and time, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. We store the hash, not the IP address itself, and use it only to limit repeated or abusive submissions.
Like any website, the Site’s hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver the Site and protect it from attacks.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- read and respond to your inquiry;
- evaluate a potential engagement, teaming arrangement, or procurement;
- protect the Site and the contact form from spam, fraud, and abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
How Long We Keep Information
We automatically delete contact-form submissions 12 months after we receive them. If an inquiry leads to an engagement, we may keep a copy with that engagement’s business records, which are governed by the applicable written agreement. We may also keep information longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our rights.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to stored submissions, and hashing of IP addresses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted through the Site by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will verify your request, respond within a reasonable time, and will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Where Information Is Processed
LedgerArc is based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction.
